What is a B1 annual return?

Irish limited companies must file an annual return with the Companies Registration Office. The return confirms key company particulars and is a core compliance obligation for directors.

The filing deadline falls 56 days after the company’s Annual Return Date (ARD). Missing that deadline triggers financial penalties and can affect audit exemption and the company’s compliance record.
